Stainless Steel Countertops — Material, Advantages and Care
Material — food-grade 304 stainless steel
Our countertops are made from solid food-grade 304 stainless steel — the same grade used in professional kitchens and the food industry. The surface undergoes a brushing treatment that gives it an elegant, matte appearance while effectively concealing minor scratches from everyday use.
Countertops are available in thicknesses of 5 mm, 6 mm, 8 mm and 10 mm, and in 8 finish variants, so we can match the solution to any kitchen — domestic or commercial.
Advantages of stainless steel in the kitchen
- Scratch and abrasion resistance — the brushed surface retains its appearance for years, even under intensive use.
- High hardness — the countertop does not deform under pressure or the weight of heavy cookware.
- Hygiene and safety — food-approved material that does not absorb bacteria or odours and is easy to disinfect.
- Integrated sink option — the countertop and sink can be fabricated as a single seamless unit, eliminating gaps where dirt accumulates.
- Timeless appearance — the brushed finish suits both minimalist and classic interior styles.

How to care for a stainless steel countertop
For everyday cleaning, wipe the surface with a damp cloth and washing-up liquid, then dry with a paper towel or dry cloth. Avoid leaving water on the surface for extended periods — especially hard water, which can leave white limescale marks.
Avoid strongly acidic cleaners — concentrated acetic acid, chlorine bleach or specialist rust removers can damage the steel's protective layer. Ordinary washing-up liquid is all you need for daily use.
Stains from red wine, soy sauce or coffee will not permanently damage the surface, but do not leave them for days — the sooner you wipe them away, the better.
After cooking, avoid placing pots and pans directly on the countertop immediately after removing them from the heat. Although steel is heat-resistant, grease and food residue on a very hot base can stick to the surface and require more thorough cleaning.
